First car donation received
We had our first car donation this summer. The timing was so perfect that it could only be God.
A 2007 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer w/ 213,000 miles
Thank you so much, Megan. IVY sold the car for a minimal amount to House Manager, Darryl, who also performs maintence for every IVY home and oversees operations at two homes. Once Darryl had transportation, my workload was cut in half.
Perfect Time
This donation happened the same week my children came home from school for the summer. Before this Ford, I was driving Darryl to every repair or to solve different conflicts. This donation gave me the summer with my family.
It needed about $3-4,000 in repairs, but Darryl is a master mechanic. Working on vehicles is a joy for him, and he has made every repair: all exterior damage is gone, buffed to shine like sea glass, and has humming like it did the day it left the lot. I’m not over-selling this.
